We are so stoked to share Amy and Topher’s elopement in Killarney, County Kerry Ireland. They call home California and eloped all the way from the sunshine state to the emerald isle to make a promise. They had the sweetest wedding ceremony at Killarney registry office with just them, us and the registrar. It was so real and honest and a privilege to photograph. Once officially wed we were all off to the pub to have their first real guiness in nearby Laurels in town. Following that we hopped in the car to adventure through the ring of kerry – stopping at anything that looked incredible (which is pretty much every 5 minutes!) It was such a perfect place for their elopement portraits. Amy and Topher were complete stars and battled through frequent rain showers and gusts of wind and still were able to get to that special pace of intimacy that is often so elusive when distracted by weather, tourists and a camera being pointed in your direction – just goes to show how in love they are! We knew that the universe always meant for Amy and Topher to be married right here in this very place and we were proved right, just as we reached the summit of Ladies View in Killarney the grey skies separated to let slightest bit of sunshine through to light up the rain out in the valley below. The most spectacular rainbow was revealed to us and it just blew us away! Amy and Topher are two wonderfully special people with big hearts and bigger smiles – it was an honour spend time with them and be part of one of the most important days of their lives.
