How much is the booking fee?
Our booking fee is £350. This reserves your date and is payable via bank transfer.
Can you hold my date?
We can only hold your date when we have received a signed contract, booking form and booking fee.
How long do you stay?
We start from the morning preparations and can stay right up until the first dance or 9.30pm which ever happens first.
How many photos do I get?
We deliver at least 500 images (usually a lot more) on USB.
How long does it take to have our wedding photos ready?
Roughly 8 weeks, though this may be longer during the summer months as it’s our peak time to be out of the office shooting weddings.
Can I order an album with you?
Absolutely, you have up 6 months after we deliver your wedding photos to order an album.
Do you take formal group photos?
Yes, we do formal photographs but we recommend only a few. Our style is documentary so we would much prefer to be catching candid genuine moments of your guests having fun and enjoying the awesome party you’ve been meticulously planning for months!
What if I don’t like having my photo taken?
We hear ya – we’re introverts (as are most of our couples) and we hate being the center of attention so we get it – so be safe in the knowledge that if we would feel uncomfortable doing something we won’t make you do it. On the day we quietly work in the background, we won’t ask you to pose until we get to your portraits and even then we make it as easy as possible.
Do you charge for travel?
We travel all over Northern Ireland at no additional cost. Any further afield we may ask for a nights accommodation and fuel costs. If you are planning a destination wedding we are more than happy to travel outside of Ireland, these costs are calculated on an individual basis.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
We’ve heard about copyright, what is it and what does it mean when it comes to our wedding photos?
Copyright means that the photographs are the intellectual property of the photographer, however, you will be provided with a print release meaning you will be able to print and share your wedding photos online ‘til your heart’s content!
Do you offer half-day or bespoke packages?
Sometimes, use the contact form above and let us know what you have in mind.
Do you also offer video?
Nope, but we can recommend some awesome videographers!
Is there an engagement photoshoot included in the wedding package?
Yes, it comes complimentary with any full day package and we’d highly recommend taking advantage of the offer as it’s a great way to see how we work, how its feels to be in front of the camera and takes the edge off when it comes to the wedding day.
Are there any hidden costs?
No – we like to keep things simple. What we quote you will be the final price.
Do you blog all of your weddings?
The unfortunate truth is no – it’s a bigger task than most realise so the weddings you see on our website are the ones we’ve managed to set a few hours aside to work on.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
It’s something that you have to be prepared for, we have shot all of our weddings in Ireland and it rains a LOT – after all, it’s called the emerald isle for a reason. And our attitude to weather is you just have to go with it. Whether it’s dashing outside while the rain has eased off or taking our chances with an umbrella (we keep two clear umbrellas in our car at all times) or making the most of the inside of the amazing venue you’ve chosen.
Do you visit a venue before a wedding?
The number and variation of wedding and reception venues in Ireland has exploded! From huge estates to tiny intimate city restaurants we’ve done it all and, it’s very rare that we ever shoot at the same venue twice. As a result visiting 40 plus venues all over Ireland takes up a lot of time, and often ends up being a wasted journey as weather changes, light changes, venues landscape their gardens, that cool place we scouted in March could be demolished by the time your July wedding rolls around and generally any plans that we may have had tend to get thrown out the window. It is best to adapt to the circumstances that face us on the day. And besides too much planning sucks the joy and spontaneity out of your portraits. At most, we’ll take a quick scout around the venue in the morning or during your drinks reception and we’ll go from there.
