We are so excited to share Christine and Valerie’s destination wedding at Mussenden Temple, Northern Ireland.
The pair live in New York yet they knew that their cliff was calling them and Christine being a Northern Irish native it was an easy decision to come home.
Christine and Valerie made their preparations in separate rooms of Drenagh House in Limavady before having a first look in the drawing room of the manor estate.
The wedding itself held in Mussenden Temple right on the very cliff edge of Downhill Strand overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was an intimate and emotional wedding ceremony. Especially with the inclusion of Christine’s nephew handing over the wedding bands and a very close friend conducting the ceremony. It was a perfect way to celebrate two families from either side of the ocean joining together! Following the ceremony guests were treated to champagne to celebrate, this was a chance to steal the newlyweds away for a few portraits around the majestic temple. Christine and Valerie also took a moment to throw coins over the cliff edge to make a wish!
The reception was held at the beautiful Drenagh Estate, just outside of Limavady.
We love shooting at Drenagh Estate because of its unique Moon Garden, which has a circular entrance on one side!
The evening was finished with sincere and heartfelt speeches and the dancing was kicked off by Christine and Valerie having their first dance.
In all, it was a beautiful wedding to be a part of and we hope you enjoy the story of their day!
