Documentary Wedding Photography N. Ireland | Crawfordsburn Engagement | Tracy & Pete

At the start of June we met Tracy and Pete at Crawfordsburn Country Park in County Down. As technically June is supposed to be a summer month you would rightly think it would have been a lovely warm sunny day with a big blue sky? Na not in good aul Norn Iron, the weather refused to co-operate, but did that stop us? Heck no!

We had a lovely walk with the “soon-to-be-weds” around the park and I hope you agree, although grey, it is just as beautiful. Alternative Wedding Photographer Northern IrelandAlternative Wedding Photographer Northern Ireland

Oh and I must mention before we go any further we had a special guest, he kind of stole the show and you will more than likely spot him running about in the background of some shots! Can you see who it is?

That’s right! It was Buddy!

Now the initial plan was to have Buddy wear a Bow tie, but he wasn’t having any of it – and do you blame him, with a coat like that who needs accessories!

I know we probably say this about all of the couples we meet, but genuinely, Tracy and Pete are such a lovely couple. They are fun, humble and mellow – basically our kinda people! We enjoyed just spending time with them and their shoot flowed so effortlessly.

As well as being lovely people they make the cutest couple.

Meanwhile Buddy couldn’t care less about all the cute and soppiness going on. He couldn’t stay out of the water!

Most dogs wait for a bone to be thrown, not Buddy, he loves a stone. “C’mon guys throw a stone for me!”

In case you didn’t know, these two love a bench. When they were attending University in Scotland they used to meet up at their favourite bench at the end of the day and catch up. Awww.

Tracy spotted these red mustaches, they were all over the park, we’ve no clue what they are for!

We walked on over the hill from the beach….

And found this…

A bench…

And not any old bench… its Pete’s NEW favourite bench! I think it’s a pretty good call!

Tracy and Pete you were an absolute pleasure to meet and photograph! We can’t wait to plan and organise your wedding shoot! We’re honoured that you have chosen us to record such an important day! The 26th September 2013 can’t come soon enough!

Finally, I think we should finish with the current family portrait!
