We are so happy to share Steve and Sarah’s homecoming wedding at the beautiful Merchant Hotel in Belfast Northern Ireland.
Steve and Sarah both live in Dubai so coming home for their wedding was really important to them, they said it best in their first message to us “Living so far away from home has made us both really appreciate our roots, our friends and our family, and we really are looking forward to getting everyone together for an amazing day”.
It was a changeable day weather wise, moving between short showers and bright sunshine. Thankfully the weather gods were kind and the sun shone brightly when we needed it to! Sarah made her preparations at her parents home in Ballyclare in the heart of County Antrim before making her way to the wedding ceremony just 5 minutes down the road.
The wedding itself felt so full of love, the way Steve and Sarah looked at each other throughout their marriage vows you could feel the mutual adoration radiating from them.
The reception was held at the Merchant Hotel in Northern Ireland’s capital city, Belfast. Guests enjoyed drinks, nibbles and acoustic music whilst we had the newlyweds away for their portraits in the Cathedral Quarter.
Steve and Sarah gave each table the name of a city they love and gave miniature bottles of prosecco for the ladies and mini bottles of Buckfast for the lads to start the night right!
The evening was finished with awesome speeches, but right before the dancing was kicked off, a massive game of prosecco pong was set up with the newlyweds taking the last turn! It was so much fun!
In all it was a beautiful wedding to be a part of and we hope you enjoy the story of their day!
