We are so happy to share Tom and Emma’s amazing August wedding at Grace Hall, Dollingstown!
Tom and Emma are such a sweet couple and it was a pleasure to document their wedding day.
It was the grey but warm day down in Hillsborough. Emma made her preparations in her parents home with her little doggo Jess running around. Tom set himself up for the day with a breakfast of the black stuff with his groomsmen in the Plough, just a stone’s throw from Queen Elizabeth’s residence in Northern Ireland. They had their wedding ceremony in the spectacular Hillsborough Parish Church.
The reception was held at Grace Hall, just outside the County Down village. Whilst we had the newlyweds away for their portraits guests enjoyed musical entertainment from a saxophonist and wet their whistles on Pimms, prosecco and Guinness.
We really enjoyed our wedding portrait session with Tom and Emma, they are such a lovely couple and the grounds around Grace Hall are beautiful!
We love shooting at Grace Hall because of its big gardens and the grand ballroom for the evening celebrations.
Tom and Emma decorated the venue with lots and lots of flowers and two very lovely friends who couldn’t make the wedding sent two embroidered napkins all of the way from New Zealand!
The evening was finished with adorable speeches and the dancing was kicked off by Tom and Emma having their first dance whilst their friends sang and played the piano – it was perfect!
In all it was a lovely wedding to be a part of and we hope you enjoy the story of their day!
