An Irish American wedding in Belfast, Ireland.
We first met Brittany and Richard for their pre wedding photoshoot in the Hudson. After a couple of whiskeys and good chat we knew they were our kind of folk, so we were super excited for their wedding plans!
Brittany made her preparations firstly at the amazing Vintage Rocks and then headed home to join up with her girls to get ready.
Richard meanwhile was at the family home and awaiting the arrival of his beautiful bride before making their way to church to say “I do.”
They made their vows in a quaint chapel in Comber. It was an eventful wedding mass with a last minute stand in; a semi retired gentleman of the priesthood lead the service. He forgot Brittany’s name and regularly joked he was not drinking gin and pointed to his big pint of clear liquid. Father Ted wouldn’t get a look in, the guests all said it was the best mass they’d been to!
After the ceremony everyone spilled out of the church and into the warm spring sunshine to be greeted by a restored Citroen H Van serving coffee and lots of little treats, all thanks to Café Continental.
Onwards, we all hopped on a red vintage double decker bus to make our way to Belfast for eats, drinks and dances on the Barge, moored on the River Lagan.
It was an awesome day for an awesome couple!
